First, we want to thank all of our players and educators for their support on our journey to make fun VR educational games. It’s been an exciting year for VR and we have some great news to end off the year. First, we have brought two prestigious teachers on to the Skill Prepare team! Each specialize in math and reading with a combined teaching experience of 40 years in elementary, middle, and high school. With their expertise, we can align our educational VR games with the best learning practices for optimal learning outcomes. In further news, we also have some great info about Manage XR as well as a sneak peak at a really fun VR battle game we have been working hard on. So let’s get into the details of each of our updates at Skill Prepare.
Math World VR Educator Edition(s)
At Skill Prepare we are always looking for ways to improve learning outcomes from our games. With our new teacher partnership, we are able to amplify these learning outcomes through experience. We are now developing two educator editions of Math World VR. The first will be for fourth and fifth graders. This upper elementary edition will not only help players sharpen foundational skills, but also curriculum aligned skills in their grade level. Our second VR educator edition will be for middle school. This will cover 6th, 7th, and 8th grades combining curriculum and teacher based math to solve. These educator editions are designed specifically for public, private, and home schools to help players improve their math in a fun and engaging way that helps improve retention. Release dates of these games are expected early 2025.
Reading World VR Educators Edition(s)
Just like Math World VR, we are also creating two educator editions for our VR reading game! Reading World VR is also being released in an upper elementary and middle school reading. It includes foundational reading skill building such as onset and rime, as well as curriculum from 4th and 5th grade for upper elementary. And includes 6th, 7th, and 8th grade reading skill building mini games for the middle school edition. Stay tuned for an upcoming release date.
Manage XR
We are happy to announce a partnership with Manage XR! Math World VR and Reading World VR are now available for school licensing use on the Manage XR platform. A Secret Sneak Peak At One Of Our VR Projects
If you like competitive trivia, then this VR game is for you. For the past year (and then some), we have been working hard on a new type of VR battle concept. After some initial iterations, we found the most fun gameplay to be with trivia. So we would like to introduce: Trivia Monsters. In this VR battle game, players battle against others by completing trivia based mini games. The player who completes their mini game quicker, attacks! There will be a handful of monsters available upon release, with more on the way. Trivia questions range from fun trivia like movies, music, travel. To educational trivia like history, science, and math. More information is coming soon with an expected release date around Christmas 2024.
